Code routes
- Approval
- Nothing is licensed until you sign the agreement and approve its scope. On code routes, signing covers later non-exclusive sales, and you can withdraw code that has not been licensed yet.
- Named use
- Each license names its permitted use. On some code routes, a licensing partner chosen per deal may also sublicense, take its own-use license or build derived datasets; we show you which before you sign.
- Exclusivity
- Only with your signature, for a defined term and scope. Code is non-exclusive by default.
- Term
- Ongoing until you withdraw.
- Your warranty
- You warrant that you own what you license. Some code agreements leave that indemnity uncapped, so submit only what you are sure you own. We negotiate caps where buyers allow.
- Sample review
- On company-data routes, agreements usually let you review representative samples before the data is used. Ask for it on every route.
- Deletion
- Each agreement sets out deletion, and we ask buyers to certify deletion at the end of the term.
- Fees
- On standard licenses the buyer pays our fee, and we show every fee before you sign.
- Scout fee
- If a Scout introduced you, we pay the Scout from our income, never from yours.
Company-data routes
- Approval
- Nothing is licensed until you sign the agreement and approve its scope.
- Named use
- Each license names its permitted use. Licenses bind the buyer to the named use, and we ask buyers to scan again on delivery.
- Exclusivity
- Only with your signature, for a defined term and scope. Company-archive lump sums are usually exclusive for a term, and non-exclusive revenue share is the alternative.
- Term
- Exclusive lump sum: Often two years or more. Non-exclusive revenue share: Ongoing.
